Qualified 1973 following training at Bristol Medical School * Several years were spent pursuing a hospital career in Obstetrics , Gynaecology and Anaesthetics followed by a 2yr spell in the Western Pacific Islands as Medical Officer. Since 1983 1 have been in General Practice where I developed my skills in complementary medicine - in particular homeopathy, acupuncture and nutritional medicine.

Following my training with the Oxford based Homeopathic Physicians Teaching Group I qualified as a Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1995. I am a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and hold the Diploma in Medical Acupuncture.. I am also a member of the British Society of Allergy , Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and currently pursuing further study in this very important area.

I believe the best in medical practice can be achieved by integrating both conventional and complementary medicine. My position as a GP has enabled me to develop skills to guide patients through the maze of "alternatives" in health care without compromising their personal health or safety. Unless we acknowledge Integrative Medicine as the corner stone of good medical practice then sub-optimal health will continue to plague our society.

I continue to work part-time in General Practice and private Homeopathic Practice. Currently I spend one day each week ( Thursday ) working for Boots plc at the Oracle in Reading as Medical Homeopath.
