Strength for Solutions
Dr Sarah Temple MB BChir MRCGP DRCOG and Shoba Manro are passionate about transformation in healthcare.
Sarah works part time as a GP in Somerset. She joined Shoba Manro in forming Strength for Solutions in 2010 and they work together as an integrated health and social care partnership offering consultancy to Virgin Care.
Sarah brings many skills and in depth knowledge of the health sector and the medical perspective and is particularly interested in projects involving the integration of services and care pathways for children and families, multi- agency working and joint commissioning. Prior to moving to Somerset she worked for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Cornwall. Her special interest is perinatal and infant mental health, early infant attachment and how emotional resilience affects sociability and wellbeing.
Shoba Manro is an experienced social worker with skills in establishing integration between service partners through relationship development and training. In working for CSIP and SWDC she supported the PCT and partners in developing integrated pathways for perinatal and infant mental health through transformational change. Focusing on the voice of the service users and facilitating shared outcomes through shared values and interconnections she was able to cross professional boundaries generally and specifically within Health and Social Work sectors. She has been a qualified social work practitioner since 1998; working in child protection, looked after children both as a practitioner and as a manager. She has held many management / development consultant positions, within Children’s services, Health, Education, and Community Development, and has in depth experience in the development and management of integrated CAMHS and other multi-disciplinary and cross sector services.
